By using SpendThrift (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

SpendThrift lets you upload bank and credit-card statement files (PDF, Excel, or CSV) to generate a private spending dashboard — categorization, transfer detection, insights, and exports. We do not connect to your financial institutions; we only process the files you choose to upload.

SpendThrift is an informational tool. The insights, scores, and figures it produces are for your personal understanding only and are not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Always verify important numbers against your official statements and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

• • You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.
• • You agree not to upload another person's financial data without their authorization.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to:

• • use it for any unlawful purpose;
• • disrupt, overload, or probe the Service or its infrastructure;
• • reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.

Sign-in is handled through Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendThrift and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on the Service's output. You use the Service at your own risk.

The Service's software, design, and content are owned by SpendThrift. Your uploaded data and the analyses generated from it remain yours.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service and its users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
